Mobility and fitness

Our gym and fitness sessions can help you become stronger, fitter, more mobile and steady on your feet.

If you have recently experienced a brain injury, you may need legal representation. 

We can help you understand your rights and signpost you to solicitors with knowledge and understanding of acquired brain injury.

Signposting, benefits and advocacy

We can help you access any financial (or other) support you may be entitled to, and put you in touch with the relevant specialist support providers.

We can also come to medical appointments and advocate for you if you need help.

Education

Many effects of brain injury are invisible, making them difficult for others to recognise. We can help you understand these hidden challenges and support you in adjusting and coping with them.

Our goal is to empower you with the knowledge, tools, and guidance needed to navigate your journey towards recovery and manage lasting changes effectively.

What happens after I make my enquiry?

Once we receive your enquiry, we will be in touch with more information and next steps. We may organise a home visit and a try out day at the ARC depending on what you’re interested in and what support is right for you. We will require information from your GP or other medical professional before you can exercise at the ARC.

Who can make an enquiry or referral?

You can make an enquiry on your behalf or as a carer. We also welcome referrals from healthcare professionals.

Who do we support?

We support any adult (18+) with an acquired brain injury who can benefit from the services we provide. We also offer respite and regular events for carers and education for healthcare professionals.
