On Tuesday, 16th, Thursday 18th and Friday 19th December our Activity & Rehabilitation Centre was filled with an extra layer of warmth and connection as we hosted a wonderful week of Christmas celebrations welcoming our community of trustees, volunteers, service users, families and carers.
Our incredible team prepared over 120 Christmas lunches complete with all the trimmings and throughout the week we were treated to a brilliant line up of festive entertainment, including very special performances from Gary the Artist and Kennington Amateur Dramatics, whose energy bought joy and cheer to everyone in the room.
Adding more magic to the celebrations, we were delighted to be joined by the most wonderful Mr. and Mrs Claus spreading smiles throughout our ARC and handing out beautifully wrapped gifts to each of our service users. These thoughtful gifts were kindly donated by Play2Give and everyone who supported their #Sleigh2Give appeal.
The week was a heart-warming reminder of the power of community, kindness and connection. Thank you to our service users and carers for the conversations and cheer, to our incredible team, and to everyone who contributed their time, talents, donations and support to help make the week possible.
We step into 2026 with hope and determination, ready to expand our impact and continue to create moments of connection, care and support together.
