Harriette takes on Bristol to Oxford cycle challenge for Oxford Head Injury Services

Thank you to Harriette for taking on this incredible challenge in support of our charity

We’re very grateful to Harriette who will be taking on an incredible cycle challenge next year to fundraise for Oxford Head Injury Services.

Next May, 2027, Harriette will cycle from Southmead Hospital in Bristol to our Activity & Rehabilitation Centre in Kennington, Oxford. The route is especially meaningful for Harriette and her family. Her Dad was admitted to Southmead Hospital following a traumatic brain injury where doctors and nurses saved his life, before he later began attending Oxford Head Injury Services for rehabilitation, support and community.

By beginning her challenge at Southmead Hospital and finishing at our Centre, Harriette is marking an important part of her family’s journey while raising vital funds to support the work of Oxford Head Injury Services.

Harriette and her mum, Deirdre have supported us before, generously dedicating their birthday to fundraising last year. We are incredibly grateful for everything they continue to do for our charity and proud to be able to support Harriette’s dad and family following his brain injury.

Harriette is now preparing for the journey from Bristol to Oxford and hoping to raise as much as possible for Oxford Head Injury Services along the way.

You can read more about Harriette’s story and support her Bristol to Oxford Cycle Challenge on her fundraising page.

A huge thank you to Harriette and her family for continuing to support Oxford Head Injury Services.
