For over 40 years Oxford Head Injury Services has been providing vital services for people who have experienced an acquired brain injury, both individuals and carers.
We offer a wide range of services from neurorehabilitation, advocacy, and welfare advice to therapeutic activities and social opportunities. Our person-centred approach empowers individuals to rebuild confidence and regain skills.
Activity & Rehabilitation Centre (ARC) Day Service
Our Activity & Rehabilitation Centre Day Service (ARC) is a community of activities and events supported by an experienced and welcoming team. Activities include music, quizzes, word puzzles, games, board games, writing skills, speech and communications practice to dance practice, art, calligraphy, mini-golf, curling, cooking, gardening and more. The Centre also includes a dedicated sensory room, providing a calm, supportive space for relaxation, sensory regulation and emotional wellbeing.
Specialist gym
Our personal trainers help people to build and maintain their strength and fitness in our purpose-built gym.
Specialist therapies
We offer a range of specialist therapies to help people move forward on their rehabilitation journey if they wish.
