College Student Donates Bench to Sensory Rehabilitation Garden
Today, Alex Clark, 17, College Student, kindly donated a wooden bench to Oxford Head Injury Services.
Alex designed and created the bench as part of his carpentry course. The project took him a total of six months to complete.
The bench is Japanese themed and has several quirky features, such as angled back legs, an Oak wood design in the middle which is decorated with a purple resin that runs through the centre. The rest of the bench is made from pine wood.
The bench will be the latest addition to the Sensory Rehabilitation Garden Project Launched, of which the stage one landscaping was recently completed.
We are very grateful to Alex for this beautiful and practical addition to our garden, and we look forward to running garden projects in the sunnier months with our Service Users.
