GiveBack 2020
This year has been a very difficult one for us, with fundraising events cancelled and postponed, and usual donation levels down.
Back in March, we made the speedy decision to digitise our Activity and Rehabilitation Centre and make other services remote.
Between March and August, we provided emergency food parcels to over 100 families, staff and volunteers made over made over 18,000 minutes of calls to reduce loneliness and isolation, and ran 160 online rehabilitation sessions to brain injury survivors.
Since August, we have reopened our Activity and Rehabilitation Centre at limited capacity to observe social distancing guidelines.
We are thrilled to see people face-to-face again, although from a distance.
Giving makes us feel good!
GiveBack2020 is a chance to take something
positive from what has been a difficult year and make
a difference at the same time.
This year, we’re in need of a little extra support. We want to get as many people as possible involved with GiveBack2020.
We’ve got some ideas of how you can get involved
Host a Mince Pie Morning
Started running this year?
Taken up running during lockdown or used the time to improve your skills?
Do a sponsored run and GiveBack. Having date night at home rather than in your favourite restaurant?
GiveBack the cost of your meal. Got in to baking over lockdown and reduced your shopping bill?
GiveBack the cost you’ve saved on bread, buns or cake and give a charity a treat!
Missing out on your treats with colleagues? GiveBack the cost of your weekly treat and help a charity
make a difference.
