Services
The team at Oxford Head Injury Services fully appreciate how difficult a time this is for those we support and we will continue to do all that we are able to meet their needs with the resources available to us.
As of Monday 23rd March, Oxford Head Injury Services will be ceasing all face to face group activities, meetings and 1-1 support and initiating a replacement support service for our clients.
As well as identifying the most vulnerable individuals that utilise our services and giving particular attention to how we might meet their needs, we are also working hard to provide the following alternative support in the coming days and for the foreseeable future:
- Emergency food parcels delivered to identified individuals
- An ongoing brain injury related specialist information, advice and guidance telephone service
- An ongoing brain injury related specialist welfare rights information, advice and guidance telephone service
- An online interactive digital forum to maintain a focus on positive activities whilst being socially isolated
- Online physical therapy classes
- Further comprehensive digitally accessible guides around issues relating to brain injury
As a local charity, we are experiencing our own organisational and financial challenges and so we appreciate your patience if we are unable to immediately deal with your concerns or requests. I would like to assure those across Oxfordshire affected by brain injury, that we are doing all we can to support you.
Please follow our up dates on our social media links and website www.headwayoxfordshire.org.uk or get in touch directly if you have an urgent enquiry on 01865 326263 and select option 6.
