The ARC is a positive, lively place to meet other people who understand what it is like to have a brain injury.

Activity & Rehabilitation Centre

We provide a range of activities and services that complement formal rehabilitation and encourage socialisation and peer support, so that you can develop strategies to help you deal with your brain injury. You can share your experiences in an environment of understanding, with an emphasis on fun and moving at your own pace.

Education & Training

We understand that you may have many questions about your brain injury and may want to gain a greater understanding about acquired brain injury. We provide education, training and support to recognise and manage the symptoms of your brain injury.

Advice, Information & Advocacy

At Oxford Head Injury Services, we understand that you and your carers may face significant challenges in finding the information and advice that you may need and engaging with statutory systems and processes. We can support you on your hospital journey and during the discharge process. We can also provide information and advice around making adaptations to your home.

Community Support

As a part of our charitable offer, we want to ensure that those affected by brain injury get the very best rehabilitation outcomes possible. Often, people in the early stages of their journey can struggle with both the enormity of the challenges in front of them and to navigate their way through the systems that are there for their reablement.
