It was a pleasure to be part of the group of supporters at Party On The Park on Saturday 12th August.
The event was organised by Play2Give, wonderful supporters of OHIS, led by Andy Baker, who is one of our long term service users and a friend of so many.
The celebratory day, that ran throughout the afternoon and into the evening, was full of lots of fun for all the family.
There was certainly plenty of enjoyment with the fun dog show and epic crowd karaoke (or charaokee) hour.
Local groups appeared on the main stage throughout the afternoon and various bands played from the stage during the evening session.
The event also included
Circus workshops with Splats Circus
Go Karts
Fairground rides
Inflatables
Children’s cycling obstacle course
& a Miniature Farm
We had our brain puzzle game which got people thinking about what different parts of the brain and how we use them.
We also had a ‘Name the Pug’ competition.
The cuddly toy, kindly donated by Radley College, was won by Freya who suggested the name ‘Poppy’ that was selected by our random wheel selector.
Thank you to everyone that stopped by to say hello, find out more or take part in our activities.
