World Kindness Day is a nationally recognised day for the celebration of kindness in society and day to day life. Individual acts of kindness are encouraged on this day annually to help individuals or good causes, this year it is held on Monday 13th November.
Pledge an act of kindness you want to do on Kindness Day UK, 13th November 2017.
A pledge can be a simple individual pledge for example:
“I pledge to give someone a compliment on Kindness Day”
Or a group kindness initiative with friends or colleagues such as:
“We pledge to organise a week of kindness events and activities to raise funds for a local good cause”
Oxford Head Injury Services would like to call for your support on this day – whether it be donated food, arts & crafts, voluntary service at our Activity & Rehabilitation Centre, or a cake sale – Oxford Head Injury Services would greatly appreciate your kindness. Individuals who have suffered from a brain injury (whether that be from an accident or even a stroke) often become marginalised in society and are at a higher risk of coping with social isolation – so reach out a hand today and pledge to #WorldKindnessDay.
Help us help others adapt to a changed life after brain injury.
