On Tuesday January 19th ITV Meridian Tonight visited Oxford Head Injury Services to hear our reaction to Oxfordshire County Council’s proposed £69 million budget cuts that are likely to affect our vital services.
Meridian interviewed Headway Member and fundraiser Andy Baker on the huge impact Oxford Head Injury Services has had on his life and the loss he would feel if our services had to be cut or diminished, and Oxford Head Injury Services CEO Jamie Miller gave his reaction to the proposed cuts that he says shows that the “Big Society” David Cameron proposed with such fanfare before the general election is in fact now the “Big Catastrophe”.
